Our History

OneUnited Bank began almost 50 years ago with the opening of Unity Bank & Trust in Boston, Massachusetts. OneUnited Bank was established by combining Black-owned banks across the country – Founders National Bank of Commerce in Los Angeles, Family Savings Bank in Los Angeles, Peoples National Bank of Commerce in Miami and Boston Bank of Commerce – with the same mission, to create an institution to garner our spending power and channel it back into the communities we serve.

Our first event of 2023 is near MHGN presents “It’s Chess Not Checkers!” is a community empowerment event starting April 1, 2023 in Ocala, Fl.

Money Hoarders Global Network is preparing for the official formation of Blocks of Passion Foundation that will be a 501c3 charitable organization center around community empowerment of the M.H.G.N ecosystem. Funds raised and generated by Blocks of Passion Foundation/Protocol will fund youth outreach programs like our “It’s Chess Not Checkers!” events and other relevant causes. One of Blocks of Passion Foundation’s core projects with be the development of emergency shelters the less fortunate and low cost housing alternatives by building with shipping containers.

“It’s Chess Not Checkers!” event 1 featured Chy Marron of Chy Marron Entertainment for a meet & greet session & motivational speech. Officer Brown is well known for her ability to uplift those around her with words of encouragement. She is a role model that young women need in the public spotlight as a voice to be all that they can be with respect for themselves and others. Chess is the game of life and life is like a game of chess your next move needs to be the best move. Anyone can benefit from learning the game of chess and once they understand the strategy behind the game there is no choice but to implement strategy into ones life. We would like to send a special thanks out to Chy Marron and the Chy Marron Ent. team for collaborating with M.H.G.N, House of Hoarders, and Blocks of Passion Protocol we will be adding pictures from the event to this post shortly.
